How to Wear The Pajama Top Trend

Topman Shirt //  H&M Pants  //  Tretorn Nylite Plus Sneakers  //  RayBan Sunglasses  //  River Island T-shirt

What better way to dress for Hump Day than to stay in your pajamas, right?  Much like track suits, and sweat pants, I’m all about a casual, loungewear-inspired trend so naturally I’m all here for the pajama trend.  Similar to my favorite camp collar shirts that I wear pretty much all spring/summer long, I love the pajama top’s open collar.  You can find many variations of this must-have shirt from silk to cotton, printed to solid, and you’ll even notice that most of them feature contrast piping which is a detail I love!  Whether you’re wearing the pajama top on its own or as part of a set, my suggestion for wearing it best is to pair it with something a little more dressy for some balance.  Here I wore my top with wide leg trousers so it has a more out-of-bed appropriate feel.

PS – These photos were taken at The City Hall of Stockholm on my recent trip to Sweden, not too far from my hotel, and not too far from the terrible attack that happened on one of Stockholm’s busiest shopping streets.  It’s so crazy how just a week before this terrible event, I was walking down the same street.  My heart goes out to Stockholm, and all of Sweden during this difficult time.  Stockholm, you’re a beautiful city full of friendly and welcoming people, and I know you’ll come out of this much stronger! <3
