Monochrome In Skin Tones
I’ve always been a fan of monochromatic outfits, but like many New Yorkers I tend to gravitate towards the darker side with the “all-black-everything” look. This spring, I’m trying to step out of that comfort zone and pull off the monochrome look in lighter neutrals. Skin tones, flesh tones, blush tones…whatever you wanna call them – I’m really loving the combination of hues in this outfit. I paired this structured neoprene shirt in a light nude color with a pair of pale pink trousers, and chose dark shoes and accessories to add a subtle break to the soft color palette. When you stick with similar colors, the result is always minimal and sophisticated, so I’m excited to see what other color options I can play with when it comes to monochromatic dressing.
