How To Pull Off Striped Pants
Starting this week off with a new post from Palawan island in the Philippines. If there’s one thing I didn’t pack enough of for this trip it was pants. Maybe it’s because I was rushing and did it pretty last minute but I somehow just forgot to bring enough. Luckily, there are like a million and one malls here and I was able to pick up these lightweight striped pants. Would you believe it if I told you these were actually women’s pants? Because they are, and they’re probably one of the better choices I’ve made on this trip. (Eating rice and tocino everyday for breakfast so far was not). First of all they’ve got an elastic waist and breathable fabric which was perfect for comfort and staying cool in the hot weather here and the blue stripes were such a fun statement. It’s kind of hard to find patterned pants for guys so these pants were a must-have. I paired them with a solid knitted polo and some easy slip-ons (no socks!) a hat (no blow drying or product!) and sunglasses (no eyebags from 2am pina coladas!) for that stylish yet low maintenance beach resort look.
