What I’m Wearing: Tuxedo Stripe Pants

You might not even know it from these gray photos, but these pics were taken in LA when I visited two weeks ago. La la land, the land of perpetual sunshine, happened to be rainy and gray for 7 out of the 9 days I was visiting – a situation that would only happen to me! LOL. But at least I tried to make the best of it. These were taken one cloudy morning just before the rain finally hit. Expecting warmer weather (it was actually pretty cold) I only packed a few light jackets but thankfully I was smart enough to bring this velvet jacket. I paired it with a striped retro-inspired knit crewneck and then some tuxedo stripe trousers for that sporty look I love so much. Similar to the track pants trend that’s become so popular in fashion lately, you’ll start to notice a lot of designers doing side stripes on their chinos, trousers, and even sweats and joggers. Move over Adidas – I think you’ll be seeing a lot more of this trend – and I’m all here for it!
