Be Smart With Your Time
As much as people tell me I should disconnect from social media and technology, the fact of the matter is that this day in age, I have to stay connected. Being a millennial, in general, and a blogger specifically, staying connected is a part of REAL life and one that I don’t really mind at all. Since I recently picked up one of Kenneth Cole’s Connect watches I decided that last weekend was the perfect time to take it for a test drive and see just how well this new smart tech watch kept me connected and in control. After linking my watch with my phone through Bluetooth using the free Kenneth Cole Connect app, I was synced and ready to go.
First order of business, meeting up with my blogger BFF, Moti, for a day of hanging on the West Side for some coffee at the Gansevoort, a stroll through the High Line, and a trip to the Whitney. With the power of the Kenneth Cole smart watch, I can receive new email, call, and even text message alerts…yanno so I could get an alert from Moti telling me he’s running late (typical). Aside from that, it also comes equipped to send you calendar alerts, help you locate your missing phone, and MOST importantly, it allows you to control your phone’s camera! Say SELFIE on three! The best part of this watch is that it comes in a variety of styles to suit anyone’s taste, not to mention it’s perfectly priced from $135 to $165 dollars so it’s pretty affordable, too! Definitely an item in my closet that’s as stylish as it is functional. If you want to learn more about the watch, you can check out this handy video that highlights all it’s features. With wearable tech becoming more of a trend, I’d love to know your thoughts on “smart” fashion so leave it in the comments.
