A Visit To LA’s Sunset Pacific Motel
I’m not in LA often so when I do get a chance to head to the west coast I try my best to explore all that it has to offer. On my most recent trip two weeks ago that included the insta-famous art installation by French artist Vincent Lamouroux. His latest work involved white-washing the now closed Sunset Pacific Hotel aka the Bates Motel on Sunset Boulevard from head to toe. Standing out among the rest of the strip, the old motel looks like a cloud against a backdrop of LA’s bright blue skies. And fittingly, I chose this location as the backdrop for a quick outfit shoot of some of my new fall gear. Sticking with new staples, I paired destroyed white denim with the modern longline hem trend in a denim button down. Since you know I love my sneakers, I chose a bright pop of red to anchor my outfit with some Adidas running shoes. The way I see it, as long as I’m a tourist, I’m gonna be one with style!
