Fall Trends With Japanese Inspiration
Although the weather is still saying summer, the calendar is definitely screaming fall! Looking ahead to a new season, one trend I’ve definitely noticed is the influence of Japanese street wear in men’s fashion. Take this shirt, for example. Fresh off the new Tomorrowland FW15 collection, this Japanese label plays with the idea of juxtaposition. Mixed fabrics in contrasting silhouettes and color combinations with a street-smart balance create a unique look that’s distinctively Japanese street wear inspired. The pants, too, borrow from Japan’s style influences. The idea of a cropped denim trouser with subtle pleats gives it a modern fashion forward approach to denim design and I’m all about innovation and trying something new.
