Because Sometimes You Need A Vacation From Vacation
Happy Friday guys! Writing to you from the beaches of Puerto Princesa on the beautiful island of Palawan today. It’s been about a week and a half into my visit to the Philippines and despite the rainy weather here, it’s been a blast. After spending my first week in the provinces of Pampanga, my family decided it was time to take a vacation from our vacation so we treated ourselves to a little beach getaway. Unfortunately for us, two storms hit the island during our 5 day stay, knocking out most of our booked itinerary for beach hopping tours and a boat ride through the famed underground river. I guess it wasn’t all bad though since our beachfront resort had plenty to do. In between the rain and clouds, we managed to get some spots of sun to take photos and go swimming. And when all else failed…there was always tropical cocktails at the bar. Here’s a few photos from one particularly sunny afternoon. Check out the amazing lighting though!
