What I’m Wearing: Casual Outfit For a Day at the Colosseum

Well I guess I just can’t help it, but every time I travel I just have to get my tourist photos in! These photos were obviously taken in and around the Colosseum, one of my favorite historical landmarks in the city of Rome. As an ancient structure it’s so impressive to think of the engineering and construction that went on back then with so little of the technology we have today! This wasn’t my first time in Rome nor the colosseum for that matter, so when I visited this time around I knew exactly where I wanted to go to get the best shots. Since I had basically been on the road since Milan, this outfit was a lot of repeats. I had the shoes and pants with me in my suitcase from my trip to Sundance and then I just bought this cool striped jacket on sale at Zara – a traveler’s go-to when you run out of fresh clothes haha.
