The New Nike Epic React Flyknit Colorways Are Perfect For Spring

It’s no secret that I love sneakers so anytime I get my hands on a fresh pair, I can’t help the excitement! On 4/19 Nike is launching new colorways of their popular running shoe the Nike React and I’ve been lucky enough to get a pair in advance to test drive before the launch. Since I’m already #teamNike, I’ve been pretty familiar with their air soles but now that I’ve experienced the foam technology of the Nike React sneakers, it might make it a little harder to switch back to my AirMax’s. Designed as a running shoe, the React’s foam sole responds to the impact of your steps by snapping back so that the more energy you put into your run, the more energy you get in return. And aside from having probably one of the most cushioned, comfortable soles I’ve felt in a while, the signature Flyknit upper makes it the perfect shoe for spring since it allows more comfort and breathability. Tech notes aside though, the Nike React scores high for style points as well. The new army green colorway I’m rocking here looks great in and out of the gym and let’s be honest…I’ll probably be wearing these mostly out of the gym because they deserve to be seen in the streets of New York!
Picking up on that military trend, I’ve styled them here with a camo bomber jacket and distressed jeans. They’re the perfect sneaker to pair with an athleisure/streetwear look and with all the technology built into the design, you can rock them all day long with maximum comfort.
