An On Feet Look at Adidas ZX 2K Boost Sneaker

When it comes to comfort and technology adidas has always been on their game. The brand has always been a go-to for anything performance-related but lately I’ve been feeling their more casual, lifestyle offerings like this year’s adidas ZX 2K Boost sneakers.
The ZX 2K Boost reworks the popular A-ZX style that was known for mixing fashion forward design with technology back when it originally came out in 1984 and updates it with adidas’ modern boost sole while paying homage to its past with some fun throwback colorways.

If we get into its construction, the new sneakers come with a full-length boost midsole with an extra stacked heel. This is one of the updates I really love because you can notice how cushioned and bouncy the sneakers are on feet. The upper is made of mesh with a no tongue construction that makes it super easy to slip on. Both of these elements combined make it a really lightweight shoe with exceptional comfort. When it comes to the added design elements, well those are just bonus points. The ZX 2K Boost is modern with a cool athleisure vibe but still has some of that retro flair with their latest colorways. Now I’m usually a fan of bolder color combos but I had to go with the all black colorway when it came to choosing a pair because of how clean and modern it looked. I like the versatility of an all black shoe because you can wear it with basically anything. I paired my ZX 2K Boost’s with a coordinating adidas Originals sweats set in neutral tones to keep the look monochromatic.
