Big Jeans Are Making A Comeback
Maybe it’s because my mom would never buy me Jnco’s as a kid, but I’m really starting to love the wide leg jeans look. Sure I’ve been into the baggy trousers for a while now, but something about boxy, wide leg denim seems more modern compared to the skinny jean trend that I’ve slowly adapted over the past few years. I mean oversized tees, sweaters, and even coats have gained popularity lately so why not the same for denim? If we’re being completely honest, I will say that the relaxed fit denim does tend to make me appear shorter, but what it subtracts from in visual inches, it adds back in comfort. Style-wise, it definitely gives off a more relaxed, cool, even grungy feel, so if you’re looking for some urban edge to your outfits, give big denim a try.
