I’ve never had a way with words. I’ve always been a math nerd and numbers guy all my life and real talk…that’s why I barely write more than three sentences here on the blog. But that doesn’t mean I don’t know how to say that love is love. It’s a simple statement with a lot of meaning that even the least eloquent speaker/writer can proudly say. Love is equal. It’s for everyone. To give. To share. To receive. No matter who you are. This Pride month I’m proud to spread that message to everyone, especially those that may need it most. That’s why I’m happy to support Urban Outfitters new Pride collection – a collection of items – super cute ones at that! – that convey the message of love and equality through exclusive graphics and artwork. Not only that, but all profits will be donated to GLSEN, an organization that works to ensure safe and affirming schools for LGBTQ+ students. Growing up as a gay teen, I know firsthand how scary and intimidating the school environment could be, and that’s why I think it’s super important to support organizations like GLSEN that work towards helping the LGBTQ+ youth during their school years.
