How To Wear Black In The Summer
Black isn’t a color you’d usually associate with summer attire especially when most of the fashion trends tend to lean toward bright hues and softer pastels. For us New Yorkers, however, black is a year-round staple so incorporating this dark color into our warm weather wardrobes is always a must. When it comes to staying cool in all-black-everything, I’m sticking with the less is more approach. Literally less – as in as least fabric as possible. For this outfit I paired a sleeveless hoodie with some layered shorts to help add some interest and texture. A pair of fresh white high-tops finish the look and bring just the right amount of contrast to this otherwise monochromatic outfit.
