What I’m Wearing: DIY Customized Denim Jacket

I’ve been meaning to post this outfit on the blog for a while and now that I’m back from my trip to Chicago I thought I’d share this look that I wore during fashion week in NYC last month. Lately I’ve been into the streetwear side of fashion a little more and when I saw this denim jacket I knew I had to have it! The metal ring details on the sleeves and back are EVERYTHING and at only $100 it wasn’t a piece that would break the bank in terms of buying something “trendy.” I had the idea to tie some suede shoelace strings through the metal rings to add a cool element of motion to the jacket when you’re walking and moving around. Needless to say, this jacket has garnered a lot of attention and compliments, so that’s all the approval I need to justify my minimal DIY work!
